International School of Uganda (ISU) Lubowa on Saturday 25th, October 2025, donated balls to St Julian Sports Academy.
Personal assistant to head of school, MS Haidee Buzu, who is also a parent of St Julian High School Gayaza, delivered the balls during the senior one (S1) and senior (S6) visitation day on Saturday 25th.
While handing over the balls to the institution’s sports manager, Ms Haidee said that she was inspired by the latter (Mbuga Swaibu), who approached her to register her daughter in the sports project.
“When I brought my daughter back in second term, I was approached by the sports manager (Mbuga Swaibu), and when I went back to my workplace (International School of Uganda), I shared the inspiration by our athletics director (Brendan Tobin) who picked interest and promised to support where need be”. Stated Ms Haidee Buzu
“We are donating these balls not because you can’t afford buying them but because of the inspiration and Mr. Brendan has promised to extend more support to the project. ” She added
Sports Manager Mbuga Swaibu received the balls on behalf of St. Julian Sports Academy, and he couldn’t hide his excitement.
“This donation has come as a surprise, and it will keep us going and determined because we take it as a sign of appreciation from people out of institution.” Said Mbuga Swaibu
“We initiated this project to give opportunities to every student because sports is for all. Many children out there have dreams in sports, but the challenge is how they get where they want to go, and here we come to eradicate the outcry at the St Julian Schools community. ” Added Mbuga Swaibu
