A storm is brewing at the Judicial Service Commission (JSC) after reports surfaced linking a senior official to a budding romance with a junior employee.
Sources say the affair, which allegedly started during upcountry assignments, has now become the talk of corridors at the Commission — leaving colleagues whispering and the boss’s marriage hanging in balance.
Insiders reveal that the two officials have been “too close for comfort” during official activities outside Kampala, prompting concerns over professionalism and possible misuse of government resources.

“Their friendship has raised eyebrows for months. Some staff are uncomfortable but fear to talk,” said a source who preferred anonymity.
Reports also suggest that the wife of the top official has grown suspicious after learning about the alleged closeness between her husband and the junior officer.
This official who resides around Najjera surroundings is married with three kids and has much respect for his wife. Sources say he is clandestinely lobbying for the commissioner post promotion.
However his fear for the wife hasn’t stopped him from allowing his weapon of mass destruction to wander a bit.
We are told that the wife is not happy and has started consulting elders on the next step after learning that a third woman has come into their marriage making it crowded.
The girl at the centre of this love triangle reportedly works in the same department with this top official.
Sources tell us that whenever there is an activity outside Kampala the two behave like newlyweds on a honeymoon in the full glare of everyone including drivers but can’t say a word.
While in Kampala they reportedly always meet in city hotels and sometimes at the sexy girl’s home/apartment located in Kisaasi.
That this official sometimes sleeps there and is picked up by drivers early morning only to lie to his wife that he is from an upcountry activity.
Their affair reportedly gained sparks around last year and it became known to some employees during one of the out of town activities that took place in Kalangala last year.
“They shared a hotel room together and even were holding hands while entering the hotel,” said a witness.
Another known horizontal meeting outside Kampala reportedly happened early this year during an activity in Mityana and again in Arua.
In Mityana they also romped in a hotel. After the activity they went straight to the sexy girl’s apartment in the evening.
He slept there until the next evening.
Our snoops sighted him being picked in the evening hours by JSC drivers and headed straight to his home in Najjera possibly to create an impression that he had just returned from the Mityana trip that very day.
Several employees have reportedly expressed discomfort, alleging that junior staff have been warned against discussing the matter. Some claim that government resources, including vehicles and fuel, may have been misused in the process—allegations that could attract internal investigation if substantiated.
“This has actually happened several times, not once or twice. They are using government resources to enjoy their secret sexual affair. You can imagine how much fuel has been used since February this year,” said a source.
Sources at JSC say all junior employees including drivers have been threatened not rumormong about their shenanigans, something that goes against JSC’s code of conduct.
This same trend of him secretly sleeping at her apartment is a public secret amongst the JSC drivers. The month of July was worse. S3x everywhere. Everyone is tired of them respecting drivers to the extent of kissing themselves in front of them.”
The Judicial Service Commission is mandated to promote integrity and professionalism within Uganda’s judiciary. Allegations of misconduct among senior officials, if proven, could raise concerns about adherence to ethical standards in one of the country’s key accountability institutions.
