The draws for the semifinals of the 13th edition of the Pepsi University Football League were conducted today at Kati Kati Restaurant, setting up two intriguing ties as teams battle for a place in the final.

Two-time champions Kampala University have been drawn against YMCA Comprehensive Institute in what promises to be a tightly contested encounter. YMCA will host the first leg on April 7, 2026, at Buwambo Grounds.

The second semifinal will see a Masaka Road derby of sorts, with Muteesa I Royal University taking on three-time losing finalists St. Lawrence University. The first leg is scheduled for April 9 in Masaka, with the return leg to be played a week later.

Interestingly, none of the four semifinalists have previously faced each other in the competition, adding an element of unpredictability to the matchups.

Kampala University booked their place in the last four after edging Bugema University on the away goals rule following a 1-1 aggregate draw. YMCA Comprehensive Institute advanced with a 2-1 aggregate victory over Kumi University.

Elsewhere, St. Lawrence University delivered a dominant performance to eliminate Ndejje University 5-1 on aggregate, while Muteesa I Royal University knocked out defending champions Uganda Martyrs University to secure their semifinal berth.

With all four sides chasing a spot in the final, the stage is set for thrilling encounters in this year’s Pepsi UFL semifinals.
