UPDF ‘Bombs’ Kiwanuka Out of the Barracks

UPDF FC has announced a reshuffle of its technical bench, parting ways with First Assistant Coach Kiwanuka Paul and Defensive Coach Oweka Denis with immediate effect.

In an official statement, the club expressed appreciation for the dedication and professionalism shown by the two coaches during their time at the club, noting their contribution to the team’s technical growth. UPDF FC wished both Kiwanuka and Oweka well in their future coaching endeavors.

The changes are part of broader technical adjustments aimed at strengthening the club’s coaching structure as it pushes to meet its sporting targets for the season. To fill the vacant positions, Mudde Musa has been drafted into the assistant coaching team, while Juma Nasur has been appointed to bolster the club’s goalkeeping department.

Club officials confirmed that the new appointments take effect immediately, underlining the club’s determination to stabilize performance and address technical needs without delay.

UPDF FC stated that it will continue to review its technical setup as the season progresses, with the latest reshuffle reflecting the club’s commitment to competitiveness, consistency, and long-term development.
