Wakiso Confirm Sixth New Signing

Wakiso Giants have officially confirmed Josephat Ayebare as their latest signing, ahead of the new Uganda Premier League (UPL) season.

The midfielder has joined the Purple Sharks on a three-year contract, from now defunct Ndejje University FC.

Ayebare now becomes Wakiso Giants’ sixth new player to be unveiled so far, after Shaibu Mtita, Hudson Mbalire, Vincent Zziwa, Derrick Kaija and Eric Kabamba.

The Wakiso club has also assembled a new set of coaches, with Steven Bengo leading the technical team as head coach, and Tonny Mawejje his assistant.

Last season, Wakiso Giants finished eleventh of 16 UPL teams to secure another season in the top division, after collecting 32 points from 29 games.
