Kampala– The country has today woke up to the news of exhuming of the body for the Late Kadongo Kamu Artist Prince Job Paul Kafeero.

Kafeero passed away on May 17, 2007 at the age of 37 years. Ever since his death several misunderstandings developed in the family especially among mothers and Children claiming to be his Children.
The matter seeking to exhume the body to have DNA samples was taken to Court and finally the Court issued a green flag to the process.
The process has been confirmed by Hon. Balaam Barugahare, the out going state Minister for Gender in charge of Children Affairs.
“As I prepare to hand over the Youth and Children Affairs docket soon, I wish to inform the public that the long-standing paternity dispute involving over 20 young people allegedly fathered by my friend, the late Prince Paul Kafeero, will soon be resolved.” Stated Balaam via his official X handle
He added that following the successful exhumation of his remains this morning for DNA sampling, a process that has remained unresolved for over 20 years is finally underway. That the family has been engaged in a prolonged dispute over this matter, and today marks a major step toward establishing the truth.
“The exhumation and sample collection exercise was professionally conducted by a team of pathologists led by Assistant Inspector General of Police Dr. Byaruhanga, in accordance with the court order and established forensic procedures.”
Balaam further added that, the Government Analytical Laboratory and the state-of-the-art Uganda Police Forensic Laboratory will now conduct the necessary scientific analysis to provide conclusive facts based on DNA evidence.
