Yafeesi Mubiru: BUL Add Another Forward

BUL FC have signed experienced striker, Yafeesi Mubiru on a two-year contract from Sunrise FC of Rwanda.

Mubiru is the club’s latest addition, after the Eastern Giants also recently unveiled Isaac Musiima, Najib Fesali, Isaac Wagoina and Bakali Magumba.

The player is excited to join the BUL project under coach Abbey Bogere, as he expressed on Thursday to the club media.

“I’m thrilled to be part of this ambitious team and look forward to contributing to the club’s success,” Mubiru said upon being unveiled in Jinja.

“BUL is a winning team with a mission and vision that suits my ambitions too. I’m here to help the team achieve its goals,” he added.

BUL the head coach believes the forward’s experience and goal-scoring ability will be a valuable asset to the team’s attack.

“BUL is committed to building a strong and competitive team, and Yafeesi (Mubiru’s) signing is a significant step in that direction,” the coach stated.

Mubiru joins the Jinja-based club with a proven goal-scoring record, having played a key role in Sunrise FC’s promotion to the Rwanda Premier League in 2020.

The skillful forward spent four years with Sunrise, making significant contributions to the team’s success.

Prior to his stint in Rwanda, Mubiru had a notable career in Uganda – having featured for top-tier clubs such as Express FC, Bright Stars FC, Onduparaka FC, and Tooro United FC.
