Hundreds Turn Up for Nakimuli’s Special Tribute at NUP headquarters

Makerere Kavule– Hundreds of National Unity Platform (NUP) members, supporters and leaders have converged at the Party headquarters in Makerere, Kavule, Kampala district to pay a special tribute to their own Hon. Hellen Nakimuli who passed away recently.

The body from a special Parliamentary sitting held on Wednesday, it was brought at the headquarters in evening hours being accompanied by Police officers as well as relatives.

In a Sombre mood, various individuals were granted an opportunity to speak about the good deeds of the deceased as well as sharing their memorable moments they shared with her.

Whoever was handed the microphone to speak to mourners described Hellen as one of young women in the outgoing Parliament who prioritized serving her people through her good relationship with her colleagues.

They described her as un replaceable member of Parliament that the Party has lost. At this moment some of the NUP members broke down in tears as they saw Nakimuli’s lifeless body in a casket.

The body has been taken to Namungoona at her family home for a vigil a head of tomorrow’s requiem mass and Burrial ceremony in Luweero district.
