The Union Prime Minister of the National Unity Government, Mann Win Khaing Than attended the Interim Local Public Administration Development Central Committee meeting No. (39/2023) on 28th September. In his opening speech, the Union Prime Minister said that now that military operations have been implemented throughout the country, and that we are able to work in a balanced way with ethnic alliance organizations as a result of strengthening our People’s Defense Force’s command and control systems, it is very satisfactory to carry out attacks now. Only when there is peace and stability in the area can the administrative system be build, and agreement between the organizations is required in terms of stability and rule of law.They will have to act through their own connections. Even if we are a revolutionary government, if people use weapons to abuse and persecute others, no matter what kind of group they are, they will take action,” the Union Prime Minister stated. The meeting was attended by Union Prime Minister Mann Win Khaing Than, Union Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Joint Permanent Secretaries, and officials from concern departments attended the meeting. The decision made by the members of the Interim Local Public Administration Development Central Committee (38/2023) regarding past processes, completion requirements, and the remaining procedures to be continued was effectively presented and discussed by the officials present. The Ministry of Defense of the National Unity Government has also established a complaint committee to receive public complaints and deal with them.

2. The Union Minister for the Ministry of Human Rights of the National Unity Government, U Aung Myo Min met with the Vice Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the European Parliament, Mr.Bernard Guetta, on 26th September, 2023. In the meeting, the Union Minister stressed the efforts being made by the National Unity Government with regard to international concerns as well as matters relating to human rights, administration, and the judiciary. They also exchanged views on the effectiveness of the resolutions adopted by the European Parliament on Myanmar and on what could be done about the international crimes committed by the terrorist military council.

3. The 4th division of the cobra column informed the public on 28th September that when approaching city, the flags had already been raised in advance to celebrate the victory. We are prepared to hoist the flag in advance to commemorate the win. Previously, the terrorist military group challenged anyone who dared to die to come out, but now it is our chance to ask the terrorist military group that we will come back to the city. The National Unity Government announced the People’s Resistance War on 7th September, 2021, and 2023 is the decisive year for the last struggle.

4. The Myanmar Community in Italy informed in the last week of September that they met with Daw Aung San Suu Kyi’s younger son, Kim Aris, in Parma, Northern Italy. The Myanmar situation cannot be ignored, no matter where you live. Daw Aung San Suu Kyi, a Nobel Peace Prize laureate, was unjustly arrested and imprisoned by the terrorist military regime. It is learnt that Myanmar Community in Italy is an organization that has been active in protesting and submitting requests to officials to make the Myanmar issue more effective.

5. According to reports, the terrorist military group has re-arrested freed political prisoners. According to the AAPP, former political prisoner Ma Khin Su Su Hlaing (@) Mar Su was released from Thayarwadi Prison on 3rd May, 2023. On 25th September, Ko Maw Chae Min, Ma Ei Shwezin, Ma Nilar Sein, and Ko Daiwa, together with Ma Khin Su Su Hlaing, were arrested at Ma Khin Su Su Hlaing’s residence in Dagonmyothit (South) Township. Ma Khin Su Su Hlaing was sentenced to 3 years in prison under Section 505-A of the Penal Code in 2021 and was transferred from Insein to Tharayawadi Prison.
