A$AP Rocky and Rihanna have joined forces for a new collaboration, this time in the beauty industry, as Rocky takes on the role of promoting Fenty Beauty’s latest unisex lip balm. The Harlem native stars in a fresh ad spot released on Thursday, showcasing the Barbados Cherry-infused Lux Balm, enriched with vitamin E and shea butter. In the promotional clip, A$AP Rocky not only flaunts the new lip balm but also drops a few rhymes.
In his rap, Rocky says, “Flossy, glossy/Nah bitch this ain’t lip gloss/Lip balm up in my palm/New collab wit my baby mom.”
After a holiday getaway in Aspen, Colorado, with their two children, RZA and Riot Rose, the power couple is back to work for the new year. Paparazzi captured the stylish duo in matching gray hoodies and tan boots during their Aspen outing, with Rocky adding flair in a cow-print fur jacket and silver metallic pants while holding Riot, who sported a fuzzy green jacket.
The fashionable family was spotted shopping at the luxury Western-themed store Kemo Sabe. Fans on social media praised Rocky for holding both kids and allowing Rihanna to shine. One fan wrote, “He held both kids and let her get her shine. Fellas, take notes!”
During the relaunch party of Rihanna’s Fenty x PUMA line before the holiday break, she expressed admiration for A$AP Rocky in his role as a father. Rihanna mentioned that seeing Rocky in dad mode is a “turn-on,” appreciating him as a “leader” and a “great, patient, loving dad.” Rihanna also highlighted that their kids are obsessed with him.
The celebrity couple welcomed their first child, RZA Athelston Mayers, in May 2022. During Rihanna’s performance at Super Bowl LVII in February 2023, she announced her second pregnancy, and they welcomed their second son, Riot Rose Mayers, in August.
In a recent statement, A$AP Rocky hinted at the possibility of collaborating with Rihanna on a fashion venture, considering their respective deals with Puma. He emphasized their successful collaboration in making children as their “best creation so far.”
