CDF Appoints Brigadier Jackson Pande Kajuba New Armoured Division Commander

The Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) and Senior Presidential Advisor for Special Operations (SPA/SO), General Muhoozi Kainerugaba has appointed Brigadier General Jackson Pande Kajuba the new commander of the UPDF Armoured Division in Masaka.

He replaces Major General Deus Sande (RIP) who passed away on Wednesday after suffering severe breathing complications.

According to Col. Chris Magezi, the Acting Spokesperson, Brigadier General Pande Kajuba has been serving as the Deputy Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division under Major General Deus Sande.

“ Colonel Wilson Bagonza Rwakanara from the Special Forces Command (SFC) is promoted to the rank of Brigadier General and appointed the Deputy Commander of the UPDF Armoured Division. The appointments take immediate effect.”

Magezi further congratulated the General officers on the new appointments and wished them good luck in the execution of their duties.
