Patrick Okidi | Dokolo, (UG): Dr. Lalam Grace Annah Atine, an independent candidate affectionately known as “Lalar Mama Yellow,” has caused quite a stir among many aspirants by pledging to construct an NRM party office in Dokolo district at her own expense.
She has also promised to provide a monthly stipend of 20,000 Shillings to all disabled persons in Dokolo district once elected into office.
Dr. Lalam assured NRM special organs per sub-county of her commitment to lobby for 10 million shillings to establish NRM sub-county Saccos for all 14 sub-counties in Dokolo district.
She urged party members, especially those who have not received recent payments, to expect double compensation once elected, as the issue has caused considerable disappointment among some Dokolo district NRM members.

Dr. Lalam explained that she plans to invite H.E Gen. Yoweri Museveni to be the chief guest at the opening of the NRM Office, for which she is already working on the building plans with an engineer, regardless of the election outcome.
According to Grace Annah Atine Lalam, the NRM party office will also include the Dokolo NRM Conference hall within a spacious compound on the same plot of land.
She stated that a significant number of opposition supporters, including those from FDC and UPC, are defecting to her camp compared to those supporting the flag bearer.
Dr. Lalam disclosed this information yesterday morning in an exclusive interview from Adok Sub-county.
Currently, she has been joined by all Dokolo LC3 chairpersons and district councilors in a consultative meeting with Dokolo voters as the nomination date approaches.
