Yusuf Nsibambi Quits Elective Politics Following Defeat in Mawokota South

Election Loss: Outgoing Mawokota MP Nsibambi disconnects Electricity from Constitutuents

Mpigi- A few weeks after the people of Mawokota South have elected National Resistance Movement’s (NRM) Suzan Nakawuki as their Member of Parliament.

The out going member of Parliament, Yusuf Nsibambi has disconnected Power from one of the parts of the Constituency urging residents to ask their New Member of Parliament to support them.

“This electricity project is one of my initiatives that I came out with, so I have power to decide how it should be utilized.” Remarked Angry Nsibambi

He added that the electricity was for his personal use, but he was surprised to find that there were some residents who had been connected without his knowledge.

He started with disconnecting power and promises that Incase they don’t stop illegal connections he will take away all his electric poles as well as the transformer.

Following his election loss, Nsibambi decided to quit elective politics and vowed to channel all his energy to personal business and family.
