Mpigi– Schools at different levels from various parts of the country, have kicked off with training sessions in preparation for the highly anticipated National Quadball Tournament 2026.

These competitions scheduled to take place in August this year, have been organized with a view of promoting talent on top bringing together learners to showcase their skills in the sports field.
While launching the training activities over the weekend, the Organizing committee revealed that registration is now open to all schools Country wide.
“ Teams are encouraged to intensify their training as they prepare to battle for the prestigious title and an exciting Cash prize of UGX 5,000,000. (Five million shillings).” Revealed Ddumba Lawrence, Director Elsa Africa, the organizers of the 2026 Tournament
He also stated that event is designed to promote physical fitness, unity, and healthy competition among students.
“We are excited by the good turn up so far for the schools expressing interest to participate in the tournament. According to our records the number keeps on growing on daily basis and we are very sure that by the end of the coming week the number will be much bigger.”
Dumba further urged all Schools country wide to register in time to avoid inconveniences or missing out in this National Tournament.
This sporting activity is expected to attract participants and spectators from across Uganda, making it one of the biggest inter-school sporting events of the year.
