Futsal: Nansana ASKA Unveils Muhammad Ssenfuma as New Coach

In a strategic move aimed at strengthening their coaching staff, Nansana ASKA Futsal Club has announced the appointment of Muhammad Ssenfuma as their new head coach.

Ssenfuma’s tenure comes with a two-year contract, marking a new chapter for the club.

Bringing a wealth of experience to the table, Ssenfuma holds a CAF B coaching license and a certificate in Futsal introductory coaching course, making him a formidable addition to the club’s leadership.

His appointment follows the departure of George Mande, indicating a shift in the club’s coaching direction.

The unveiling on Saturday in Ndeeba, was done by club CEO Isaac Okolimo who was flanked by other officials.

Ssenfuma’s coaching journey boasts stints at various clubs, including Talent Bridge and Dream Team, where he honed his skills and expertise in Futsal management.

Notably, he served as the chairperson of the Futsal Super League season 2017/18 and the Futsal Uganda Cup season 2018/19, showcasing his leadership capabilities within the Futsal community.

Assisting Ssenfuma in his role, Esperito Muwonge will serve as his deputy, while Isaac Ssemakula takes on the role of Fitness coach, forming a dynamic coaching trio poised to propel Nansana ASKA Futsal Club to new heights.

The timing of Ssenfuma’s appointment sets the stage for an exciting second round for the club, with their second round opener against defending champions Park FC scheduled for March 1 at the Old Kampala Arena.

With the team finishing the first round in fifth place with 21 points, the arrival of Ssenfuma and his coaching team signals a fresh start and renewed ambitions for Nansana ASKA Futsal Club as they aim for success in the upcoming fixtures.
