Future and Metro Boomin are gearing up to drop one of the most anticipated joint albums of 2024, and they’ve raised the excitement level by teasing a collaboration with Travis Scott.
Young Metro shared a brief snippet of the ethereal track featuring Future’s distinctive vocals on Twitter on Wednesday (January 3), igniting anticipation among fans. The unreleased song has been informally dubbed either “Cinderella,” as hinted by Metro, or “Family Forever,” although neither artist has officially confirmed the track’s title.
In the snippet, Future’s woozy vocals float over an intoxicating Metro production, creating an ethereal atmosphere. Metro captioned the video clip with “Hot chocolate Cinderella,” showcasing a playful interaction between him and Future as they dance to the unreleased track.
Travis Scott initially teased “Cinderella” at the launch party for his Cactus Jack collaboration with Swiss watchmakers Audemars Piguet in November 2023. The snippet of the track was well-received, creating anticipation among fans for its official release.
The upcoming collaboration has fans eager for its arrival, with many expressing their excitement in Metro’s replies on Twitter. Despite the lack of a firm release date for the joint album, Future confirmed last month that the highly anticipated project is indeed “on the way.”
Future and Metro Boomin have a longstanding creative partnership dating back over a decade to the release of “Karate Chop” in 2013. Metro has since produced some of Future’s biggest hits, including “Mask Off,” “Low Life,” and “Wicked,” as well as collaborations with Drake, such as “Where Ya At” and “Jumpman.”
While 2024 promises to be a busy year for Metro Boomin, who has hinted at the release of at least three albums, fans are eagerly awaiting the arrival of the Future joint project, speculating that it could be one of the albums he has in store for the new year.
