Uganda Premier League (UPL) side KCCA FC have officially signed Hudu Mulikyi from URA FC, SportsNation can confirm.

Mulikyi, who has been a free agent after his contract with the tax collectors expired, agreed to a two-year deal with the Kasasiro Boys.

The transfer was finalized on Monday morning following a successful medical examination conducted by KCCA FC’s team doctor, Ivan Ssewanyana.

Mulikyi, a versatile player capable of performing both as a center-back and a midfielder, has been with URA FC since 2016 after joining from Maroons FC.

His ability to adapt to multiple positions on the field adds significant depth to KCCA FC’s squad. Before his stint as a defender and midfielder, Mulikyi played as a forward during his time at Maroons FC between 2015 and 2016.

KCCA FC is aiming to improve on their previous season’s performance, where they finished fourth with 49 points.

The club’s management is optimistic that Mulikyi’s experience and versatility will bolster their campaign for a higher finish in the upcoming season.

In addition to Mulikyi, KCCA FC has also strengthened their squad by acquiring Steven Munguchi from Gaddafi FC and Shafik Kwikiriza from BUL FC.
