Katikkiro Charles Peter Mayiga Has Urged Patriotic League of Uganda Members To Fight Corruption

The Katikkiro of Buganda, Charles Peter Mayiga has advised members of the Patriotic League of Uganda (PLU) to take on the National Spirit from words to action, by fighting corruption and injustice in the country.

He was at the Kabaka’s Palace in Mengo, meeting PLU members who bought the Kabaka Birthday Run kits, worth shs 20,000,000. The Katikkiro said many Ugandans are confused by the rampant corruption in government institutions and employees which has hampered the development of the country.

He also urged everyone who feels concerned about the country to think about the poor services in hospitals, and to lead the fight against HIV/AIDS in the country.

Godfrey Kabyanga, Deputy Minister of Technology and National Guidance, led by the PLU members, thanked the Buganda Kingdom for opening its doors to politicians and the public.
