KCCA FC secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory against Gaddafi FC in the Uganda Premier League clash held at the Gaddafi Arena in Jinja.

Despite an early setback with Rashid Mpata’s penalty goal for Gaddafi FC, KCCA FC showcased their resilience, with first-half strikes from Etienne Katenga and Shaban Muhammad sealing the win.

Gaddafi FC displayed hunger early on, but KCCA FC responded strongly, with Katenga and Shaban finding the net to secure the crucial three points.

Goalkeeper Abdu Magada’s impressive saves thwarted further attempts from KCCA FC, ensuring a tense finish to the match.

Man of the Match, Abdu Magada’s stellar performance denied KCCA FC’s Shaban and Saidi Mayanja, preserving Gaddafi FC’s hopes until the final whistle.

With this victory, KCCA FC climbs to 6th place on the league table, while Gaddafi FC remains in 14th position.

In their upcoming fixtures, KCCA FC will host Mbarara City in Lugogo, while Gaddafi FC will face UPDF in Bombo.
