Last week during a memorial for the late Major General Aronda Nyakairima, the elected president of Uganda His Excellence Yoweri Kaguta Museveni said that the National Unity Platform party under Robert Kyagulanyi Ssentamu, had rigged the 2021 presidential elections by one million votes.
Today,Kyagulanyi has responded to the allegations in his own words “Last week, election thief Gen. Yoweri Museveni made wild claims that the National Unity Platform rigged the last election by one million votes. The same man who rigged and usurped the will of the people of Uganda in broad daylight! He challenged us to take him to court. Today, I wrote to him informing him that we are taking on the challenge! He should cede his illegitimately gotten immunity in writing so we meet in court. We are also challenging him to an independent, transparent election audit presided over by an international agency!”
