The Uganda National Examinations Board (UNEB) and the Ministry of Education and Sports released the results of the Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (UACE) 2023, showcasing outstanding achievements across various districts.
Wakiso District Dominates with Exceptional Performances
Wakiso district emerges as a powerhouse in UACE 2023, boasting a plethora of schools that have excelled, with a remarkable number achieving maximum scores of 20 points. Notable institutions such as St. Mary’s Secondary School Kitende, King’s College Buddo, and St. Mary’s College Kisubi spearhead the list, demonstrating excellence in academic prowess. The district also witnesses an abundance of candidates securing 15 points and above, showcasing the dedication and commitment to academic excellence in Wakiso.
Kampala District Celebrates Academic Success
Kampala district stands tall in UACE 2023, with distinguished schools producing candidates who scored the coveted 20 points. Bishop Cipriano Kihangire, Lubiri SS, Kibuli SS, and Mengo SS, among others, contribute to the high passing rate. The district shines with numerous candidates achieving 15 points and above, solidifying its reputation as a hub for academic achievement.
Mukono District Continues to Excel
Mukono district maintains its stellar performance in national examinations, once again securing a spot among the top-performing districts. Seeta High School Mukono, Seeta High School A Level Campus, and Namilyango College are among the institutions that have propelled Mukono to the forefront. The district’s consistent excellence across Primary Leaving Examinations (PLE), Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE), and now UACE reaffirms its status as an educational beacon.
Outstanding Performances Beyond the Capital
While Wakiso, Kampala, and Mukono steal the spotlight, other districts have also made a mark in UACE 2023. Mbarara, Masaka, Iganga, Ibanda, Bushenyi, Mpigi, Ntungamo, and more have demonstrated commendable performances, contributing to the overall success of students across the country.
