Livingston Mbabazi, the head coach of Vipers SC, attended the team’s training session on Sunday amidst swirling reports of his potential sacking.
Mbabazi, who had been absent from the club’s last two fixtures in the league, observed the training session but did not actively participate with the team.
According to reports, the future of Mbabazi at Vipers SC is hanging in the balance as top executives within the club are divided over his continued tenure.
The club also confirmed Fred Muhumuza as the Assistant Coach.
During Mbabazi’s absence, assistant coach Richard Wasswa has taken charge, leading Vipers to victory in two consecutive games against URA FC and UPDF FC.
The Venoms, aiming to defend their championship title in the league, are set to face rivals SC Villa in a highly anticipated match on Tuesday at the Muteesa II Stadium in Wankulukuku.
