Monicah Nyambura, a well-known prophetess from Prophetic City Church Kasarani, has once again become the talk of the town. This time, however, it’s not her prophecies that are causing a stir, but rather, the unveiling of her personal life.
Monicah took to social media to share her wedding photos, with an intriguing caption that read: “GOD OF MANY CHANCES.”
This event marks Monicah’s third marriage, a detail that has captured the attention of both her followers and the general public. She has decided to keep the identity of her new partner a secret, further fueling the ongoing speculation.
In a past interview with The Nairobian, Monicah offered a peek into her history, illuminating the path that led her to this point.
Her first marriage, which resulted in the birth of their first child, ended in separation in 2007. Looking back, Monicah admitted, “I was naïve and agreed to marry due to family issues and life’s hardships.”
Yet, she found love once more in 2018 when she married Samuel Kariuki, the father of her second son, Wisdom Jabari. Their whirlwind romance led to marriage just six months into their relationship.
For the next two years, Monicah gave her followers a glimpse into her life with Samuel, especially during her pregnancy. However, around September 2020, she stopped sharing photos of her husband and removed her wedding ring, indicating a change in their relationship.
When asked about her marriage and subsequent separation, Monicah chose to remain elusive, preferring to share her views on divorce instead. “Divorce is terrible, and even God detests it,” she stressed, “but one should not risk their life for the sake of marriage or a spouse.”
Monicah’s disclosure has elicited a range of responses from her social media followers, with many offering their congratulations and sharing their aspirations for love and matrimony.
