The renewal of the lists will last for 5 days, from 13 March to 17 March 2024. The vice-president of the NRM in Buganda, Godfrey Kiwanda Ssuubi, said all supporters who will be registered must have their identity cards, after which the party will issue them NRM membership cards.

He warned those entrusted with the responsibility of registering NRM members not to try and register people in their homes, as it would cause disunity in the party but to register people in public.

Meanwhile, Kiwanda Suubi warned party members not to try and bring their fights to the villages in the process, but to communicate well to ensure that the party remains united.
