Patrick Okidi | Obongi, (UG): Residents of Ewafa and Aliba sub-counties expressed gratitude towards President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and the NRM government for providing clean drinking tap water. The commendation occurred during a monitoring visit by the Office of the RDC Obongi on Thursday.
The residents, relieved from the burden of long-distance walks and drinking contaminated water with animals, tasked the Resident District Commissioner (RDC) of Obongi, Mr. Samuel Mpimbasa Hashaka, with extending their appreciation to President Museveni and the NRM government for the initiative.
During the monitoring visit, residents interacted with RDC Obongi, who oversaw the progress of the water project initiated three months prior.
In a related development, one resident praised President Museveni for his efforts in ensuring access to clean water for Ugandans.

RDC Samuel Mpimbasa Hashaka emphasized that the people of Obongi district should recognize President Museveni’s leadership and his contributions to Uganda’s development and socio-economic transformation. He highlighted initiatives such as PDM, Emyooga, and the provision of clean water as evidence of President Museveni’s commitment to the nation’s progress.
