President Museveni Receives Special Message from Central African Republic President

President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni received a special message today from his counterpart in the Central African Republic, H.E. Faustin-Archange Touadera.

The message was delivered by Mr. Claude Rameaux Bireau, the special envoy of President Touadera and the Minister of National Defence and Army Reconstruction of the Central African Republic, at State House, Entebbe.

During the meeting, Mr. Bireau conveyed warm greetings from President Touadera to President Museveni, the government, and the people of Uganda. Discussions between President Museveni and the special envoy centered on mutual interests between Uganda and the Central African Republic, with a particular focus on defense cooperation and trade linkages.

Accompanying the special envoy were Hon. Vincent Bamulangaki Ssempijja, the outgoing Minister of Defence and Veteran Affairs, and Hon. Oboth Markson Jacob, the incoming Defence Minister, along with other senior military officers and government officials.
