Rotary Club Of Kampala West To Install PAP Member Edith Ogola As 56th President

The Rotary Club of Kampala West is set to usher in a new chapter of leadership as it officially installs Edith Ogola-Jackson as its 56th President during a prestigious installation ceremony scheduled for Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at Kati Kati Restaurant, Kampala.
The event is expected to bring together Rotarians, Rotaractors, distinguished guests, community leaders, and development partners to celebrate a leader whose commitment to service, education, and humanitarian causes has earned her recognition both locally and internationally.
Ogola-Jackson a proud pan Africanist assumes the presidency at a time when Rotary International’s theme, “Create Lasting Impact,” continues to inspire clubs worldwide to strengthen communities through sustainable service projects. Her installation is anticipated to mark the beginning of a transformative year focused on education, community empowerment, and humanitarian outreach.
Beyond her Rotary leadership journey, Ogola-Jackson is widely respected for her contribution to social development and education. She is a proud recipient of the Pan African Pyramid (PAP) Humanitarian and Educationist Award, accolades that recognize her outstanding dedication to improving lives through humanitarian service and educational advancement across communities.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, members of the Rotary Club of Kampala West expressed confidence in her ability to build on the club’s legacy of service above self, citing her passion for community development, mentorship, and inclusive leadership.
The installation ceremony is expected to highlight the achievements of the outgoing leadership while unveiling the incoming president’s vision and strategic priorities for the 2026–2027 Rotary year. Guests will also have an opportunity to network and celebrate Rotary’s continued impact in Uganda and beyond.
Attendance fees have been set at UGX 70,000 for Rotarians and guests and UGX 30,000 for Rotaractors. The event will begin at 1:00 PM, with a Mid-Week Chic dress code.
