SC Villa: Hajji Mandela Parts Ways with Three Staff Members

0

SC Villa Club President, Hajji Omar Mandela, has reportedly severed ties with three key staff members, according to sources close to The-SportsNation.

The ousted staff members include Team Doctor Emmanuel Nakabago, Head of scouting and recruitment Allan Nsubuga Magunda, and Junior team coach Saleh Muwayi.

This development follows a recent incident during halftime between SC Villa and Mbarara City at Wankulukuku stadium, where Mandela allegedly stormed into the dressing room.

Reports indicate that during the altercation, Mandela went as far as slapping Midfielder Ronald Ssekiganda, which left some members unhappy.

The club has remained tight-lipped regarding these incidents, refusing to comment on the matter at the time of reporting.

Sources suggest that Mandela cited the “lack of seriousness” in the execution of duties by the dismissed staff as the reason behind their termination.

Meanwhile, tension continues to mount within the club as they push forward in their quest for league glory, having missed out on league title on last day of the season last year following defeat against URA at Wankulukuku.

SC Villa currently occupies third position on the league table with 39 points, trailing leaders Kitara by five points, albeit having played two more games.
