Last Friday, I&M Bank Uganda orchestrated an elite gathering of industry captains for an exclusive round of golf with the organization’s Regional CEO, Mr. Kihara Maina.
The event, dubbed ‘Tee-time with the I&M Bank CEO,’ unfolded against the picturesque backdrop of Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa.
Among the notable attendees were Robin Bairstow, the CEO of I&M Bank Uganda, Amos Nzeyi, Chairman of Crown Beverages Ltd, Edward Kabuchu, Chairman of MSL Logistics LTD and Dr. Kato Sebale, Chairman of Case Hospital.
Daniel Kangu, Managing Director of Lake Victoria Serena Golf Resort and Spa, Elly Kibuuka Mukasa, DHL Uganda Domestic GM and I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series Captain, Dr. Ben Mbonye, Chairman of Nakasero Hospital, and Andrew Kabaya, Managing Partner at Shonubi Musoke & Co. Advocates, also serving as the Vice Captain of the I&M Bank Katogo Golf Series, also attended.
Completing the ensemble were Timothy Musiime, CFO of I&M Bank, Gibson Nangono, CBO, and Annette Nakiyaga, the bank’s head of Marketing and Corporate Communications.
Following the exhilarating 18-hole round, the participants were treated to an intimate lakeside dinner in the serene ambiance of Lake Victoria.
As the evening progressed, accolades were bestowed upon the outstanding performers of the day. Elly Kibuuka Mukasa emerged as the overall winner, clinching the coveted title.
Reflecting on the event, I&M Bank Uganda CEO, Robin Bairstow, highlighted the significance of the golf gathering as a platform for fostering interactive engagements beyond the confines of the office, underscoring the importance of nurturing relationships with key partners under the guidance of the Regional CEO.
