The Uganda Boxing Federation has revealed the squad set to represent the nation at the upcoming African Games.
A team of seven boxers has been selected to don the national colors and vie for glory in the highly anticipated sporting event.
Departing on the 8th of this month, the Bombers contingent is gearing up for the technical draws slated for the 13th, followed by the commencement of actual bouts on the 14th.
The squad, mostly comprises of emerging talents and barely trained in preparations of the continental stage.
The roster for Team Uganda is as follows:
- Tumusime Innocent – 48kgs
- Mulungi Khasim – 57Kgs
- Amoko Innocent – 63.5kgs
- Kibira Owen – 67kgs
- Semuddu Muzamir – 71kgs
- Ndagire Sharua – 57Kgs
- Namutebi Erina – 63kgs
