Miss Uganda Hannah Karema Tumukunde has been crowned as Miss World at the 2024 Miss World Finale in Mumbai ,India.
The 24- year -old ,who was raised in Central Uganda , is the second Ugandan to earn the title of Miss World Africa after Quiin Abenakyo.
From the moment her journey kicked off last month, Hannah has been an absolute powerhouse, proudly waving the Ugandan flag on the international stage like the true queen she is.
Hannah Karema has also booked spot in the top 8 at 71st Miss World grand finale in India.Others who have made it to top 8 include Miss Bostwana, Miss Brazil and Miss Trinidad and Tobago. Miss England ,Miss Czech Republic,Miss Lebanon and Miss India.

Remember that jaw-dropping performance? Quiin slayed the head-to-head challenge, landing her a spot in the Top 5 overall—a historic moment for Uganda.

Who is Hannah Karema
Born and raised in Nakaseke, Uganda, she is based in Kisasi, Kampala, Uganda.
She attended Hana International School Uganda in Nsangi, Uganda, Seroma Christian High School in Mukono, Uganda and Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda.In 2020, she started modelling professionally.
On March 18, 2023, she competed against 20 other candidates at Miss Uganda 2023 at UMA Multipurpose Hall in Kampala. She won the title and the Miss Popularity award.
She was 20 years old when she was crowned Miss Uganda 2023.
In May 2023, she represented Uganda at Miss World 2023 in the United Arab Emirates and In December 2023, she represented Uganda at Miss Elite 2023 in Egypt.
