Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has suspended transportation of vehicles on their Nakiwogo – Buwaya ferry for one week.
According to UNRA’s spokesperson, Allan Ssempeebwa, the suspension comes as a result of the raising of the water levels of Lake Victoria which submerged the ferry’s docking area.
Ssempeebwa however says that for this period, it’s only the passengers who will be transported to and from Buwaya as maintenance works commence.
