KIU Titans eased past Ndejje Angels, securing a commanding 85-53 victory in a lopsided National Basketball League match held at Lugogo.
With a strong start leading 21-11 in the first quarter, the Titans maintained their momentum throughout the game.
Coach Julius Lutwama’s team were good value for the result, out-rebounding Ndejje 52-43 and minimizing turnovers to 18.
Denis Tom Omara led the scoring with 15 points, supported by Joel Lukoji and Mpiya Juf with 13 points each, while Edgar Munaaba contributed a double-double of 12 points and 13 rebounds.
Benon Wobusobozi and Jonathan Oketch posted 14 and 13 points respectively for Ndejje Angels.
The Titans conclude the first round in third place with 8 wins, while Ndejje finishes third from the bottom after their eighth defeat of the season.
