Members of Igara Ranchers led by their chairman Amb. Enoch Nkuruho have rejected what they called broad day theft of their long awaited compensation from government where the lawyer supposed to process their compensation awarded himself 30% of the total 7.7billion.In today’s annual general meeting held at Bushenyi multipurpose hall, members resolved to switch back the lawyer’s fees to 20% as earlier agreed.The chairman board of governors Igara Ranchers Amb. Nkuruho accused some of his executive members of conniving with the lawyer Counsel Justus Karuhanga born in Ntungamo working in Kampala to increase his charges from 20% to 30%.Amb. Nkuruho went ahead to show this journalist of www.mknewslink.com his forged signature which was appended to documents affirming that the said percentage had been increased.A senior lawyer in greater Bushenyi and a member of Igara Ranchers Paul Tusubira told www.mknewslink.com that their lawyer should have received only 10% as the law says. He threatened to take Justus Karuhanga to law council for cheating Igara Ranchers.Igara Ranchers was a popular organization in the 1980s.
