The minister of internal affairs who doubles as Member of Parliament for Ruhinda County in Mitooma district Maj. Gen Kahiinda Otafiire has strongly warned the new vision newspaper to publish an apology on front page or he takes it to the highest court in the country the Supreme Court.
Gen. Otafiire revealed this in an Interview with www.mknewslink.com at his home in Kashenshero town council in Mitooma district.
He noted that new vision has been publishing lies on him since 2014 when he bought land from a known person.
He added that the New Vision had been claiming that he grabbed government land which is not true and they went ahead to publish the half-truth on its page 10 that he bought the land genuinely but he was not satisfied therefore he needs an apology on the front page in capital letters for them to survive court case in the highest court in Uganda.
He went ahead to affirm that the land is his and he has a genuine land title of 50 acres of land.
He also wondered why a government paper the new vision would attack a minister and MP who passes their budget and benefits.
