The Kenyan Chief of Defence Forces, Gen Francis Omondi Ogolla is feared dead after a helicopter in which he was flying with several others crashed on Thursday afternoon.
Reports from Kenya indicate that the Kenya Defence Forces chopper crashed and caught fire in Kaben, Elegyo Marakwet.
According to The Star news outlet, initial reports indicate that there were 14 top military officials on board.
Rescue mission ongoing with some of those injured rushed to Eldoret for medical attention.
