I Don’t Regret Telling Off Provocative Caller in viral Vulgar Video – mulengeranews.com

By Mulengera Reporters
On Thursday, diehard Museveni supporter Yusuf Nsibambi appeared on CBS’ Kiriza oba Gana program along with Semujju Nganda, Joyce Bagala Ntwatwa and older persons MP James Kakooza. To his credit, moderator Kalule Lameck prompted him to comment on the audio clip of his which had gone viral on internet days earlier.

In the audio, Nsibambi is heard using vulgar words in response to a provocative Mawokota South voter who he goes as far as advising to eat faecal matter (he shuts him up with lya amaazi) instead of wasting time on him. The man, believed to be a NUP diehard, got his phone and rang into Nsibambi’s private phone and unknown to the outgoing Mawokota South MP, the man was recording the call.

After introducing himself and the trading center he comes from, the caller immediately begins rebuking Nsibambi (who recently defected to Museveni’s NRM) demanding to know for how long he intends to remain ‘politically stupid.’ The man wonders why a rich and well educated man like Nsibambi can cheapen himself to a level of being such a sycophantic Museveni supporter.

Renowned for taking no prisoners, Nsibambi quickly responds by demanding to know the capacity in which the man is making such calls to him and whether he is the one who birthed and educated him. The man loses his cool and becomes vulgar, to which Nsibambi responds with even more vulgarities. Nsibambi asks him to let him be because the Mawokota people don’t have any authority over him anymore, since they saw no value in him in the first place.

Now on CBS, Nsibambi told Lameck Kalule and fellow panelists that he is no longer bothered and will relentlessly address haters the way they approach him. He made it clear that where things had reached, he wasn’t prepared to tolerate social media familiarity anymore and he will be answering fire with fire. Whoever addresses him respectfully will be treated with respect and Nsibambi said that eye for eye or tit for tat approach is okay and consistent with his Islamic faith. He said Semujju Nganda, a fellow Muslim, was his witness on that.
