The Uganda National Roads Authority (UNRA) has been urged by MPs to explain the reasons behind the delayed repair of the Masaka-Mutukula road.

The MPs said parliament approved 1.52 trillion for the repair of the 96-km road.

UNRA‘s head, Allen Kagina said the delay in receiving the funds in cash was due to the African Development Bank refusing to lend to Uganda again, while domestic funds were still limited.
