Kawempe Muslim’s coach, Ayub Khalifa, was left frustrated following a contentious 1-1 draw against Makerere University in a FUFA Women Super League encounter on Saturday.
Despite Hadijjah Nandago’s goal for Kawempe, Sharon Namatovu equalized for Makerere at MUK main grounds.
The match was marred by inclement weather, with Khalifa engaging in a heated exchange with referees over their decisions.
Kawempe missed a chance to widen their lead at the top, remaining on 28 points, four ahead of Kampala Queens, who face Rines on Sunday.
However, the drama didn’t end with the final whistle. Ugly scenes erupted as fans clashed in a brawl, adding further controversy to an already tense affair.
